Work in progress – UI Design

With the technicality of the prototype still in progress, I have also constructed the UI & UX of my application. Which by time in progress, I have named it ‘Envisage’ which defines to form a mental picture of something or someone you have never seen taken from Cambridge Dictionary. The main idea for this application is to let children envisage their experience, and to help them to overcome it.

The picture below is the flow of the application:

The sketch of the application is placed below:

Variety of children applications are stated to be underwhelming, meaning that the UI and UX are simple yet unsightly at the same time. With that, I also aim to create a prototype that is minimal yet eye-catching and well informative to both the children and adults.

I have noticed that a variety of children UI related concept from dribble, have mostly applied the primary colors between soft orange or bright purple-neon. Though mostly other pastel colors, leaning to soft blue, green and yellow. Of course, the pictures below are shown as reference only.

This is my own design that is inspired by the following references created by Figma. There will be more design versions along the weeks.
